These labs meet a–g requirements for most charter schools and give students real experience with microscopes, dissection, and lab skills—

🗓 Live Lab Schedule

Tuesdays | 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Once a Month | August–May
Total Lab Hours: 20 Hours (Full Year)

Lab Dates:
Fall: Tuesdays, 8/26, 9/16, 10/21, 11/18, 12/16
Spring: Tuesdays, 1/20, 2/17, 3/17, 4/14, 5/19

🎓 Grading & Participation

  • Students must have a reliable internet connection
  • Cameras must remain ON for the duration of the class
  • Active participation, including answering questions, is required
  • Pass/Fail Grading Only based on participation
  • Attendance Required: 4 out of 5 labs each semester must be attended LIVE to receive a passing grade
  • All lab work is recorded and documented in a comprehensive lab manual—perfect for use as work samples to show teachers and parents
  • This is only the laboratory portion of the Biology Class.  Please check with your charter school teacher on what needs to be done to fulfill the textbook requirement. 
  • If you need textbook suggestions, this biology kit is coordinated with: A Beka, ACE Ministries, Alpha Omega, Apologia (Wile), BJU Press, Christian Light, Glencoe Science, and Prentice Hall biology texts.

  • $750 per semester
  • Supplies and microscope purchased separately
  • Minimum of 4 enrolled students required to hold the course
